I have been reflecting lately on what I learned from what I experienced this past year. We have all been though a lot. It’s not over, but it is a good time to reflect on how far we have come and to plan for the future. I’m writing today to ask you to pause briefly and take this unique opportunity to consider:
What’s next?
Maybe you thought your practice could not survive shutting down for several weeks, but now your patients are more engaged in their health than ever.
Maybe you were disappointed to lose long time employees, but see new opportunities as you reassemble your team.
Maybe your expenses went up and you wondered if your practice could survive, but you are busier than ever and having your best year yet.
You bounced back.
You have demonstrated your resilience in the face of uncertainty. Maybe you are working harder than you have ever worked.
What’s next?
Do you just want to get back to normal? Or do you want to go forward with creativity, intention, and commitment to building the practice of your dreams?
Never have we ever experienced such a challenge to what we thought we knew. Never have we been in a better place to re-set our thinking, our assumptions, and our goals for the future. Now is the time to take advantage of what you have learned through this period of upheaval. Now is the time to use it to spark inspiration for the next phase of your work life.
To support that process I invite you to join us in Seattle October 8-9, 2021, for “A Team Approach to Whole Health Dentistry.” I want to help you take advantage of this opportunity to re-focus on:
The Health of Your Patients
The Health of your Practice
The Health of your Relationships
Whole Health Dentistry is for those who care deeply about the whole person who comes to us for care, not just teeth and gums. It’s for those who appreciate the importance of a thriving economic model; one that does not treat dentistry as a commodity, but as an opportunity to provide uniquely individualized care. It is for those who believe that trusting relationships — in the team and with patients — support excellence in all aspects of care.
If you are sometimes disappointed in your patients’ lack of engagement in their health, you can become more effective at helping them make healthy choices. You can practice in a way that is more rewarding in every way. I would like to help you shape that practice. You can expect to leave this meeting with:
- Language to help patients partner with you and see you as a trusted advisor for their health
- Perspective to understand the part you play in making your practice thrive
- Skills to develop and sustain a spirit of true collaboration
I am inspired by the resilience I have witnessed in dentistry over the last year. I have never been more proud of our profession, or more confident of the potential we have to make a significant difference in the lives of our patients. I also know that we can accomplish that in a way that enriches our lives as well.
I hope you will join me in exploring and creating the practice that you and your patients deserve! Click here to Register today, or call me at 206.937.5851 to learn more about how this workshop might help you and your practice,
